Lynn - Sketch 294

Happy Everything
Really enjoying these sketches, this week I used some papers that I've had for some time felt like using some bright colours to brighten the day as the weather has been so dull lately. I used my circle punch and a button stamps to make my embellishments, then mounted the sentiment on black card and fixed in place with sticky fix pads.
The image was coloured with promarkers and edged with walnut stain distress ink, then placed on a black square mount.
I was to enter this card in this weeks 'Sketch Saturday'.

Looking forward to another sketch next week, thanks for stopping by

Thank you

Today I have used the little Claire stamp Cherish, hugs, and Dream stamp set this is one of my favourites and the florish from the Butterfly florish set.First I made my background with a brayer adding distress inks faded Jeans to the top and bottom and tumbled glass through the middle. Stamped the flower image at the bottom with versafine onyx black, once dry I added more ink by painting with distress ink onto the centre of flowers, then finished by adding a white detail around some of the stamped area.
Keeping with  the blue tones I embossed my backing paper and used the plain blue card to make flower embellishments, and for mounting the image and the strip through the middle of the card

I wish to enter my card into the Little Claire challenge for January .

Just for you

Found a cute design in my stamp stash for this weeks challenge by folding the front of the card back I then arranged my sketch adding dimension. Stamped then used my watercolor pencils to paint my image this week, and used my Lilly of the valley papers to line the inside and front of the card adding a sentiment tag and ribbon to the top right corner.

Lazy Afternoon

Love this stamp bought it just before Christmas and it fits perfectly inside the heart of my Clarity stencil.I started with some text paper from my Beach Bliss pad, positioned my stamp in the heart , then used distress ink to create my stencil design around the heart.

To make my card I used:
papers from Lilly of the valley
Heart Stencil from Clarity
Distress inks Walnut brown, mustard seed, and dried marigold
Stamp from Lilly of the valley Lazy Afternoon.
