Clarity Challenge

Here is my card for this month challenge using the wee folk stamps from clarity.

My background was made using distress inks on watercolour card, placing the stencil on top of my background, I sprayed  over it with some water, before removing the stencil I rolled some kitchen roll from the top, to bottom of the stencil to bleach out some of the colour. 

Once dry I continued to draw the circles from the stencil to make my flowers using a black fine liner

pen adding stems and detail on the flowers, and making some hills in the background with distress ink.

Next came the stamping using the fairies, and to finish off I added some sparkle to their wings.

Canvas

Had a great day yesterday went to a workshop making a canvas and backgrounds using shaving foam.
The day went so fast, although it did get to a messy stage with all of the paint, but picked up lots of ideas and I was really pleased with my result, think this one can go on my wall!

Male birthday card

Needed a mans card and came up with stamping into the hill sections of my background, I was really pleased with the result keeping the brown not too heavy . Finished off with some hessian behind the sentiment to give some texture.

All set for a workshop day with some crafty friends tomorrow .
